PTU Tutorial - Dead Gurl
For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Celiart Pinups
~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Dead Gurl made by Kristin which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one with similar elements
Tag Template 190 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
Vix Big Mask (My fave) which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started
Open Kristin's template in psp - delete the credits layer - image - canvas size - set to 800 x 750 - fill raster 1 layer with white
On the circle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - delete the original layer
Merge together the blue rounded rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the light pink square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the dark pink square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the black square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Finally merge together the large blue square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste frame 1 as a new layer - resize so that it fits nicely around the large circle layer - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste the filmstrip frame as a new layer - position along the bottom of your tag - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none
With your magic wand again select the middle of the far left frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - copt & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - repeat this for the other 3 frames - merge together all your tubes - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - Screenworks - Dot Screen
On the filmstrip layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections - modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the filmstrip layer - fill with white - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise
Add a drop shadow
Copy & paste the spiders web & move it so that it's below the circle layer - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste the wordart as a new layer - position in the top left corner - move it so that it's below the spiders web - effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - glow width set to 3.00 -
Add a drop shadow
Copy & paste any elements from your scrapkit as new layers - position around your tag - i also applied the same gradient glow to make them stand out - add drop shadows
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce opacity a little bit - add a drop shadow to the original layer
Add a new layer above your background layer - fill with a colour from your tube - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix's mask - merge group
With your font add your name - position - apply the same Gradient Glow as earlier - add a drop shadow
Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
