PTU Tutorial - Toxic Tude

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Toxic Tude made by Kristin which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one
Tag Template 209 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
VixBigMask {Can't you tell it's my fave lol} made by Vix which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started
Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size - 800 x 750 - fill the background layer with white - delete the credits layer
Copy & paste the filmstrip as a new layer - move to the bottom of the template - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with a colour from your tube/kit - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position in the left frame - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - with your magic wand again select the middle 2 frames - selections - modify - expand by 4 - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - merge all tube layers together & move below the frame layer
Duplicate your tube layer - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - texture effects - blinds
On the frame layer go to effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - glow width 3.00
Add a drop shadow
On the star layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - choose 2 colours from your tube/kit - select gradient - foreground & background - repeats 3 - angle 45 - fill the new layer with this gradient - selections - none - effects - texture effects - blinds - same as before - add a drop shadow
On the pink circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - add a drop shadow
On the large black circle layer - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot
Add a drop shadow to the white noise layer
On the left small circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate both the gadient & tube layers - image - mirror - delete both black circle layers - add a drop shadow to the small white noise layer
Back on your tube layers - merge together - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (l) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - xero - fritillary
On the thick black rectangle layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - add a drop shadow - duplicate both of these layers - image - mirror - image - flip - delete all original layers beneath the duplicates
On the pink rounded rectangle layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with a gradient - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50% - add a drop shadow - duplicate both of these layers - image - mirror - image - flip - delete all original layers beneath the duplicates
Merge together the blue square layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50%- add a drop shadow - duplicate both of these layers - image - mirror - image - flip - delete all original layers beneath the duplicates
Merge together the grey square layers - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a gradient of your choice - selections - none - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot - same settings as earlier - delete the original layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer below your gradient dotted layer - fill with white - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50% - add a drop shadow
On the large pink circle layers - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50%- add a drop shadow - duplicate both of these layers - image - mirror - image - flip - delete all original layers beneath the duplicates
On the black rectangle layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50%- add a drop shadow - duplicate both of these layers - image - mirror - image - flip - delete all original layers beneath the duplicates
Add a drop shadow to the thin black rectangle layers - on the pink dotted layer go to selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - with your pixel font add some text - position - convert to raster
On the star layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - selections - none - add drop shadows - delete original layers
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - add a drop shadow - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce opacity to 80%
Add a new raster layer & move it below all other layers - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix's mask - merge group
Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit - position around your tag - i applied a gradient glow to mine to make them stand out more - add drop shadows
With your font add your name - position - convert to raster - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - select the lighter option - 50% - effects - eye candy - gradient glow - same settings as earlier - add a drop shadow
Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
