PTU Tutorial - Slave




For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @The Hunter

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Slave made by Waggish Sparkles which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one
Tag Template 153 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
VixBigMask {Can't you tell it's my fave lol} made by Vix which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started

Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size -  800 x 750 - fill the background layer with white - delete the credits layer

Copy & paste frame 3 as a new layer - resize by 60% - position to the left - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together - with your selection tool set to rectangle draw around the middle section, where the frames overlap - hit delete - it should now look like 1 frame - 

With your magic wand select the middle of the frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - choose 2 colours from your tube/kit - select gradient - foreground & background - repeats 3 - angle 45 - fill the new layer with the gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position to the left - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together - duplicate again - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot



On the frame go to effects - plugins - eye candy - gradient glow - glow width 3.00



Add a drop shadow

On the large black rectangle layer - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient {Use another colour from your tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - VanderLee - Unplugged-x - Interlace



Delete the original layer - add a drop shadow to the noise layer

On the oval layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - delete the original layer - add a drop shadow

Merge together the large red rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - selections - none - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot



Delete the original layer - add a drop shadow to the noise layer

Add drop shadows to the thin black rectangle layers

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position in the center - resize to liking - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit - position around your tag - i also applied the gradient glow to make them stand out - add drop shadows

Open a new blank canvas - size 500 x 500 - With your pixel font add some words - i added SLAVE - objects - align - center of canvas - convert to raster - effects - plugins - mura meisters - copies - tiling



Add a drop shadow - open Weescotslass mask in psp - on the text layer you just did go to layers - new mask from image - apply the mask - merge group - copy & paste this as a new layer on your tag - position in the top right corner - duplicate - position in the bottom left corner

Add a new raster layer below this layer - fill with a gradient - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix big mask - merge group

With your font add your name - position - convert to raster - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50% - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
