PTU Tutorial - I Hate Liars!




For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Jose Cano

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was I Hate Liars made by Bibi which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one
Tag Template 168 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
VixBigMask {Can't you tell it's my fave lol} made by Vix which can be downloaded from here

Dsb Flux - Bright Noise
Penta.com - Color Dot
Xero - Fritillary

~Font used~
Miss Le Gatees
Pixel font of choice - i'm using Bitdust1

Let's Get Started

Open Kristin's template in psp - image - canvas size -  800 x 750 - fill the background layer with white - delete the credits layer

Copy & paste the black double frame as a new layer - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - selections - modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with a colour from your tube - copy & paste your tube as a new layer in to the top frame - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - move into position in the right frame - merge together - duplicate again - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - add a drop shadow to the frame layer

Copy & paste peach frame as a new layer - image - rotate - left by 90% - resize by 70% - position to the top right - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - merge together - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - add a new rsater layer - move it below the frame layer - choose 2 colours from your tube/kit - select gradient - foreground & background - repeats 3 - angle 45 - fill the new layer with the gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position to the left - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - move to the right frame - merge together - duplicate again - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot



Add a drop shadow to the original tube layer & to the frame

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - on the circle layer go to selections - float - defloat - 
selections - invert - on the tube layer use your eraser tool to erase parts of the tube that overhang the circle - selections - none - add a drop shadow - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - screen - reduce opacity to liking

Back on the circlae layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - add a drop shadow - delete the original circle layer

On the black rounded rectangle layer - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - effects - plugins - xero - fritillary



Selections - modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50% - add a drop shadow

Merge together the blue rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient {Using 2 different colours from you tube} - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot

Selections - modify - expand by 4 - fill with your gradient {Using 2 different colours from you tube} - selections - none - effects - plugins - dsbflux - bright noise - 50% - add a drop shadow - delete the original layer

Merge together the pink rectangle layers - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - add a drop shadow - delete original layer

Merge together the square layers - selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient {Using 2 different colours from you tube} - effects - plugins - cero - fritillary - same settings as before - selections - modify - expand by 4 - on the original layer fill with white - add a drop shadow

With your pixel font add some words - image - rotate - 90% right - position - duplicate - image - flip - image mirror

Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit as new layers - position around your tag - add drop 
shadows

Copy & paste a paper as a new layer - move below all the other layers - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix big mask - merge group

With your font add your name - position - convert to raster - effects - plugins -dsbflux - bright noise - same sttings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - save tag and you are done!
