PTU Tutorial - Skullerina Part 2

For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Celinart Pinup

Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Skullerina made by Kristin which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one with similar elements
Tag Template FTT12 made by Minxy & Rosey which can be downloaded from here
Vix_BigMask01 made by Vix which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started

Open the template & the mask in psp - on the template delete the credits layer - image - canvas size - set to 850 x 750 - fill the background layer with white

On the black squares layer - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - copy & paste your tube again - position - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - merge together your tube layers - adjust - hue & saturation - colorize - set both sliders to 0 - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - Xero - Radience



Back on the original square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - selections - modify - expand by 3 - fill with a gradient (Two colours from your tube, choose gradient, repeats 3, angle 45) - selections none - adjust - add/remove noise

On the white rectangle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - effects - plugins - Penta.com - Jeans - default settings - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - selections - none - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow



Add a drop shadow

Merge together the white square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a gradient - copy & paste your tube as a new layer & position it over the bottom right square - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - back on the original layer - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with white - selections - none - apply the same noise settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Duplicate the tube layer - image - mirror - position above the top left square - merge together with the other tube layer - duplicate - change the blend mode of the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce opacity to liking - effects - plugins - Dsb Flux - Linear Transmission



On the pink circle layer - selections - all - float -d efloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - on the original layer go to selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with white - selections - none - apply the same noise settings as earlier

On the grey circle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - effects - plugins - Penta.com - Color Dot



On the original layer - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with white - selections - none - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow

On the blue circle layer - selections - all - float -d efloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - on the original layer go to selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with gradient - selections - none - apply the same noise settings as earlier

On the thin pink rectangle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position to the right - selections - invert - hit delete - selections none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - apply the same Linear Transmission as earlier

On the original layer - selections - all - float - defloat - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with black - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow

Merge together the small grey circles - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - apply the same Color Dot settings as earlier - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow

On the large black rectangle layer apply the same Jeans settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Merge together the large circle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - apply the same Color Dot settings as earlier - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow

Merge together the blue rounded rectangle layers - selections - all - float -defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - on the original layer go to selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with gradient - selections - none - apply the same noise settings as earlier

On the right white rectangle layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from you tube - selections - none - add a drop shadow - repeat this with the bottom left layer

On the bottom left pink square layer - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from you tube - selections - none - add a drop shadow - repeat this with the top right layer

Merge together the blue square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from you tube - selections - none - apply the same Jeans settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

On the pink circle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - apply the same Color Dot settings as earlier - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position & resize to liking - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer below the tube layer - selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill with white - apply the same noise settings - add a drop shadow - duplicate the tube - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - apply the same Radience settings as earlier

Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit - position around your tag - add drop shadows

Add a new raster layer above the background layer - fill with black - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix mask - merge group

With your font add your name - position - apply the same noise settings - effects - plugins - Eye Candy 4 - Gradient Glow - glow width 3.00



Add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop around your tag - delete the white background layer and you are done!
