PTU Tutorial - Bat Wingz & Skullz
For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Elias Chatzoudis, which you can download for free off his website
~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Bats Wingz & Skullz made by Kristin which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one with similar elements
Tag Template 234 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
Vix Big Mask (My fave) which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started
Open Kristin's template in psp - image - resize by 90% - all layers - image - canvas size - set to 850 x 750 - fill the background layer with white & delete the credits layer
On the large grey circle layer - go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - reduce opacity to around 75% - copy & paste frame 1 as a new layer - resize by 65 - with your magic wand select inside each middle section of the frame
Selections - modify - expand by 4 - hit delete - selections - none
On the frame layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with white - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Add a drop shadow
On the large black circle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - effects - plugins - Mura Meisters - Tone - change the top colour box to match your tube
Selections - none - reduce the opacity to around 40% - add a drop shadow to the white noise layer
On the right pink circle layer - selections - float - defloat - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together - duplicate again - change the blend mode on the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - chamge the blend mode to screen - effects - plugins - Screenworks - Dot Screen - add a drop shadow to the white noise layer
On the left star layer - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - on the original star layer fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - set to 60% - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - repeat this for the paper layer too & delete the right original star layer
On the left dark purple square layer - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - on the original layer fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - set to 60% - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - repeat this for the paper layer too & delete the right original star layer
On the pink square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - on the original layer fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - set to 60% - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - repeat this for the paper layer too & delete the right original star layer
On the cream square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - on the original layer fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - set to 60% - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - mirror - image - flip - repeat this for the paper layer too & delete the right original star layer
On the large grey square - go to selections - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - selections none - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste the filmstrip frame as a new layer - position in the top right - move it below a couple of the layers (see tag) - with your erase tool rub out all the frame apart from the first 2 frames - with your magic wand select the middle of the frames that are visible - selections - modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with black - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections none
Duplicate your tube - change the blend mode on the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light
On the frame layer - effects - plugins - Eye Candy 4 - Gradient Glow - glow width 3.00
Add a drop shadow - hide all your layers apart from the black frame background, your tubes & the filmstrip frame - merge together - unhide all layers - duplicate - position in the bottom left corner
Copy & paste the wordart as a new layer - resize so that it fits nicely around the large circle layer - apply the same Gradient Glow as earlier - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit - i also applied a Gradient Glow to these to make them stand out - position around your tag - add drop shadows
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to Soft Light - on the original go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the original tube layer - fill with white - selections - none - appy the same noise settings as earlier - add a drop shadow
Add a new raster layer above your background layer - fill with a colour from your tube - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix's mask - merge group
With your font add your name - position - apply the same noise settings as earlier - also apply a Gradient Glow but using just the colour black - add a drop shadow
Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
