No Scraps Tutorial - Crazy, Sexy, Cool



For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Keith Garvey

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
My tag template 05 which can be downloaded from here
DBV Mask 109 which was made by Vaybs and can be downloaded from here
Texture of choice. I used a part of the tube as my texture

Let's Get Started

Open my template in psp - delete the credit layer - image - canvas size - 850 x 750 - refill the background layer with white

On the frame back layer select the middle of each frame with your magic wand - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position in the left frame - selections - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge together & duplicate - change the blend mode on the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - effects - plugins - Xero - Radience



With your magic wand select the middle frame back layer that you filled - effects - plugins - Penta.com - Color Dot



Selections - none

With your magic wand select the frames - selections - modify - contract by 2 - add a new raster layer & fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - adjust - add/remove noise - 50% - selections - none

On the small rectangle layers - select each rectangle with your magic wand - add a new raster layer - choosing 2 colours from your tube set your colour pallette to gradient - angle 45 - repeats 3 - fill your new raster layer with your gradient - selections - none - merge together with the wordart layer - reduce the opacity to around 70% - add a drop shadow

On the small frameback layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - fill with a colour from your tube - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position in left frame - selections - invert - hit delete - duplicate your coloured frameback layer & your tube layer - position in the bottom right frame - merge together the tube layers - change the blend mode on the original to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - texture effects - blinds



On the thin rectangle layers - select the top & bottom ones with your magic wand - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - effects - plugins - Penta.com - Jeans



Selections - modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - adjust add/remove noise - 50% - add a drop shadow - selections none - do the same for the middle rectangle but using a gradient colour

On the oval 2 layer go to selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with your gradient - effects - plugins - Mura Meisters - Tone



Selections - modify - expand by 2 - on the original oval layer fill white - selections - none - apply the same noise settings as earlier - add a drop shadow

Now on your tube find a pattern, can be from her clothes, hair etc - with your selection tool draw around a small piece, like so 



Copy & paste as a new image - selections - none - effects - image effects - seamless tiling



In your colour palette select pattern & find the pattern you just made - angle 0 - scale 100 - on the oval 1 layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with the pattern you just made - selections - modify - expand by 3 - on the original oval 1 layer - fill with a colour from your tube & apply the same noise settings as earlier - selections - none - add a drop shadow

Merge together the dotted square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - delete original layer

-TEXT ON A CURVE-

Set your foreground to a bright colour (Doesn't matter, we will be deleting this layer) - background set to nil - preset shapes - eclipse - line width 2 - select your font & have it set to floating - draw out a circle that fits around the oval noise layer (See my tag) - DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER - add a new raster layer - with your font add some words so that it fits between the frame & the thin rectangle (see my tag), if it doesn't fit add some spaces between the words or change the font size - selections - none - delete the circle layer you just drew - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - flip - image - mirror

Duplicate your tube - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - set to 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - on the original go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections - modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the tube layer - fill with white - apply the same noise settings as earlier - selections - none - add a drop shadow

With your font add your name - position - apply the same noise settings as earlier - effects - plugins - Eye Candy 4 - Gradient Glow - glow width set to 3.00



Add a drop shadow

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
