PTU Tutorial - Toxik
For this tutorial i am using the amazing artwork by @Tyson McAdoo

~Supplies Needed~
Tube of choice
Scrapkit used was Toxik Angel made by Kristin which can be purchased from here
If you do not have this scrapkit please feel free to use another one with similar elements
Tag Template 193 also made by Kristin which can be downloaded from here
Vix Big Mask (My fave) which can be downloaded from here

Let's Get Started
Open Kristin's template in psp - delete the credits layer & the wordart layers - fill raster 1 with white
Copy & paste the filmstrip as a new layer - position to the bottom of the template (see my tag) - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with black - selections - none
With your magic wand again select the middle of the far left frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - copt & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - repeat this for the other 3 frames - merge together all your tubes - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - texture effects - blinds
Back on the frame layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - selections modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with white - selections - none - add a drop shadow
On the large green circle go to selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none
On the black circle layer go to effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot
Add a drop shadow to the circle noise layer
On the left circle layer go to adjust - hue & saturation - colorize - change the colours to match your tube/scrapkit - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate - image - mirror - merge down - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen - reduce the opacity to around 80%
Copy & paste frame 2 as a new layer - resize it so that it fits nicely around the circle - add a drop shadow - duplicate - image - mirror
Merge together the dark pink square layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the light green rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with white - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the dark green rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Merge together the pink rectangle layers - selections - all - float - defloat - copy & paste a paper as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - selections modify - expand by 2 - fill the original layer with a colour from your tube - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste your main tube as a new layer - position - add a drop shadow
Copy & paste any elements from the scrapkit you are using as new layers - position - add drop shadows - i also applied a small Gradient Glow to mine to make them stand out
Add a new raster layer above your background layer - fill with a colour from your tube - layers - new mask from layer - apply Vix Big Mask - merge group
With your font add your name - position - adjust add/remove noise - 60% - i also applied a small drop shadow to this too - add a drop shadow
Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are done!
