A pixel font of choice

Let's Get Started

Open my template in psp - image - canvas size - set to 750 x 650 - unhide the background layer and fill with white

On the grey rectangle layer go to selections - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - select 2 colours from your tube - change the colour palette to gradient - angel 45 - repeats 3 - fill the new layer - effects - plugins - Xero - Fritillary



Selections - modify - expand by 2 - on the original rectangle layer fill with white - selections none - add a drop shadow

On the frames layer select inside the middle of them both with your magic wand - selections - modify - expand by 3 - add a new raster layer & move it below the frame layer - fill with black - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - copy & paste your tube again - position - selections - invert - hit delete - selections none - merge together your tube layers - duplicate - on the original change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects plugins - Xero - Radience 



Effects - texture effects - blinds



On the black background layer go to selection - all - float - defloat - effects - plugins - Mura Meisters - Tone - change the top colour box to match your tube



Selections - none

On the frame layer go to adjust - add/remove noise - set to 60% - add a drop shadow

On the grey square layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube (I left mine as they were) - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position in the top left square - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - modify - expand by 2 - add a new raster layer & move it below the square layers - fill with white - selections - none - add a drop shadow

On the tube layers - merge together - change the blend mode to Luminance (L) - effects plugins - Xero - Radience - same settings as earlier

On the oval layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with a colour from your tube - selections - none - effects - plugins - VanderLee - Unplugged-x - Interlace



Delete the original layer - add a drop shadow to the noise oval layer

Add drop shadows to the black rectangle layers & the wordart layers

With your preset shape tool set to rectangle - foreground none - background white - draw out a small rectangle (see tag) - position to the left - convert to raster - move below the frame layer - with your selection tool set to point to point draw around any excess rectangle - duplicate - image - mirror - position in the top right (see tag) - merge together - with your pixel font add some words - position - duplicate - position again - merge your rectangle layer & your words layers together - reduce the opacity to liking, i normally reduce to around 40-50% - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position - if your tube overhangs the rectangle layer use your selections tool and hit delete - duplicate - adjust - blur - gaussian blur - change the blend mode to soft light

With your font add your name - position - adjust - add/remove noise - 60% - effects - plugins - Eye Candy 4 - Gradient Glow - glow width 3.00



Add a new layer above the background layer - fill with your gradient - layers - new mask from image - apply Vix's mask - merge group - resize if needed

Don't forget to add the artists correct copyrite - crop & save tag and you are 

done!
