Let's Get Started

Open Cakes template in psp - if the template is too big resize it to liking & make sure all layers is checked - canvas - set the canvas to liking, i normally do 850 x 750 but that's up to you - delete the credits layer - add a new raster layer - move it below all the layers & fill with white

Hide the wordart layer for now, we will use this later - on the double circle layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new layer - choose 2 colours from your tube/scrapkit - change the palette to gradient - foreground & background - angle 45 - repeats 3 - fill the new layer - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate & then duplicate again but hide the top tube layer for now - on the original change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to soft light - effects - plugins - VanderLee - Unplugged-x - Interlaced

Hide all layers except for your 2 tube layers & your gradient layer - merge these layers together - duplicate - image mirror - delete all original layers for the circles

On the big star layer go to selections - all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer - fill with black - unhide the tube layer that you hid earlier & move it above the star layer - selections - invert - hit delete - change the blend mode to luminance (L) - on the original star layer - selections - modify - selection borders

Add a new raster layer & fill with the gradient you used earlier - selections - none - effects - plguins - DsbFlux - Bright Noise - set to 50% - add a drop shadow - move this layer above the star tube layer - hide all layers except for the black star layer, star tube layer & the star frame layer - merge together - duplicate - image - mirror -delete all original layers on the left side

On the circle background layer go to adjust - hue & saturation - colorize - change to match your tube/scrapkit - add a drop shadow

Copy & paste the filmstrip as a new layer - position below your circle back layers & move so that it's like mine (see tag) - with your magic wand select the middle of each frame - selections - modify - expand by 4 - add a new raster layer - move it below the filmstrip layer - fill with black - effects - plugins - penta.com - color dot

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer & position in the far left frame - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - invert - copy & paste your tube again in the middle 2 frames - selections - invert - hit delete - selections - none - duplicate the first tube - image - mirror - merge together all the tube layers - duplicate - change the blend mode on the original layer to luminance (L) - on the duplicate go to adjust - blur - gaussian blur - 3.00 - change the blend mode to screen

On the filmstrip layer go to effects - plugins - eye candy 4 - gradient glow - glow settings 3.00
